Getting to Know Us
Bess Care is a non-profit organisation that exists to provide home and community care to members of the Australian community. This organisation emerged in 1981. In time, it went on to get incorporated. Through this, it stands as one of the recognised institutions within Australia that provides the much-needed home and community care.
There is no doubt that the care of members of the aged community is essential. This is more so as they cannot care for themselves in most cases. In turn, it becomes necessary that as members of the community, we commit ourselves to create an active environment that provides adequate care to this aged community.
It is in this light that we have emerged. We recognise the considerable care that members of the aged community need to keep being healthy. We fill this void by creating industry-leading options that allow members of the aged community to receive the best possible care.
Over the last few years, we have expanded our reach. We have grown from being a driving provider of a few individuals to hundreds of them. However, this has not resulted in a drop of the high standards to which we hold ourselves accountable. We continue to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, like never before. We ensure that our growth rests on a solid foundation that allows us to do more for our community.
We offer a wide range of essential services that are relevant to members of the aged community. Our services range from transport to personal care to respite care to social support to home maintenance and domestic assistance. We tailor these services to ensure that life is easier for members of the aged community.
Once again, we are a non-profit organisation. So, what drives us is not the intention to make a profit. Instead, what drives us is our commitment to creating the best possible environment for members of the aged community. We have our partners to thank for allowing us to achieve this. Today, we get funding from the Home and Community Care program.
We also provide Home Care Package funded by the Commonwealth. We are also big on the list of the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme). This ensures that we can cater to the needs of a wide range of people. We welcome everyone eligible to participate in our programs. With it, we reach and contribute to the general health of members of our community.
Our mission is to contribute to the provision of help to members of the aged community. We cannot underestimate their contribution to the community in the past. We recognise that this is a time to give back. As such, we discharge our responsibility with full commitment.
We receive support from our able and efficient volunteers. They are the instruments through which our will to contribute to the community becomes a reality. They are not just volunteers, we count them as members of our team, and core members at that. We hope that we can continue to contribute positively in the years to come.
